Question about Direct Sowing Seeds in November in Illinois

Does anyone direct sow seeds now in Illinois to produce blooms for spring and summer?

If so, please list some of them.


I have wintersown seeds for 2 years, but just in the milk jugs, but I remember people saying they would just throw seeds down in the fall.

Larkspur, poppies, batchelor buttons... but I did it earlier, maybe around August. The seeds sprouted and over wintered as seedlings.
