We have a new addition to our woodsy creekside garden, The Old Man of the Oak bird bath from Patio Imports in Taylors, SC. He is cement with a bronzey glaze and has such detail, he looks as if he is carved from wood. Went to look for an elegant birdbath with a heron wrapped gracefully around its base but fell in love with him. My husband says he looks like Jace Robertson from Duck Dynasty. LOL!

Nice, he looks like he belongs there. Great coloring for the area, looks like he has "hung around for years".

I fully intended to get one of those beautiful, classic, elegant bird bath's with herons gracefully curved around the base or a cherub holding up the bowl but our's is, after all, qute a country garden near our red barn and the 'old man' fit the mood down there better! The business we got him from is like a wonderland of statuary, wrought iron, pottery, and garden art as well as ponds and plants and choosing from among it all is overwhelming and daunting! I fell in love with him when I saw him!

Looks great. Does this place have a website? Well, I will probably check once I make this post. Check out Design Toscano, if you want to see some unusual statues for outdoors and indoors. Some are pricey but I have paid the price for a couple that I just had to have.
