Hello to everyone. I'm new to this forum. I'm wondering if anyone has made any garden items with birch bark. I am very interested in trying covering a birdhouse or other things like a framed mirror for the garden. I'd love to see any photo's of things you've made. Also does anyone have a source for buying birch in big sheets or rolls. Thanks in advance!

I am also interested in a source of birch bark or something that comes close to looking like the real thing. I need ribbon and papers that have the white/ecru background and the short brown/black lines. Hope someone has a source. Thanks

RE: birch bark crafts

I found this forum websurfing. I am 17, and I've been crafting for 7 yrs. now. This past year I started getting into barkcrafts and as you want pics. I'll try to oblige I just have to figure out how to do it. I have, however, found a good site for bark materials even though I would rather just get the bark from a tree at our new house site. Here is the site I found to be helpful, just copy and paste : http://www.barkcanoe.com/materials.htm. Enjoy and God bless!

Hi: I have birch bark for sale. It was collected last summer. If interested, email me with the sizes you need. You will like my prices!
