Newbie to group - long time garden weirdo

Hi all. I hope I'm in the right place. I'm Gigi, the neighborhood oddball (at least, I feel that way). NO ONE in my neighborhood has gnomes, fairies, gargoyles, little villages, frog statues, dolphin and hippo stepping stones, elf villages, gazing balls, wind chimes, or anything cute, silly, storybook, or colored other than green or an occasional flower, since the lady across the way had to take out her Bearded Iris (a sad day).

That is, no one but me. I am proud to announce I have agreed with myself to do whatever the heck I want and the critics be d**ned. (ok, yes, a divorce is involved so sorry if I sound like I've been in a box for years because I have).

Many of these things are new, I'm in the process of re-planting the front yard. And every single item or decoration has a personal meaning to me (well, except the gnome who's just cute). So I'm the oddball. I'm trying to set things so that the yard isn't cluttered. The elf village is tucked under an azalea for example, if you didn't look right at it you wouldn't see it. But *I* know what's there, and to heck with anyone else.

So anyway, I'm on the rose forum and a few others, and I wanted to introduce myself.

Nice to meet you all. Gigi
