Smith Hawken Garden Urns--mossy metal or mossy terracotta

Hi, I usually post on the home forum but I am beginning to like this forum as well. I am not much of a gardener (two brown thumbs;) ) but I do love a beautiful garden. I wanted to ask you guys which of these garden urns is more practical and prettier. They are both from Smith&Hawkens. One is a mossy green metal urn( lightweight)and the other some kind of mossy green terracotta (heavy). Which one do you like more and why? Thanks in advance

I couldn't find a picture of the mossy terracotta urn but this is sort of the category it's in:

Here is a link that might be useful: Urn

I would go with the NOT terracotta one. Clay pots have to be moved in during the winter or they will crack and break when they freeze. you don't want to move something that heavy every year unless you're a power lifter. I have several of the light wieght faux finish pots and they look great. I take them in for the winter but you wouldn't have to.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your opinion, princess_mimi. I like the look of the terracotta urns but they are extremely heavy. They are both the same price so I might just get the metal ones.

dazedandconfused, you might want to try looking at Big Lots if you have one in your area. They have several different sized urns(identical to the picture you posted) at one quarter or LESS, and in different sizes and shapes. They're resin, so when filled with dirt, will still be fairly easy to move. Can also change the color with an outdoor paint. ;o)

Thank you so much for your suggestion, patty_cakes. I have never seen a BIG LOTS around here. I will look on their website for a store locator.
