best kind of wire to make flowers

It seems like every year the box stores make a killing selling flowers, butterflies, etc, that are nothing more than thick, very soft wire bent into amusing shapes with some beads attached and the whole thing mounted on a little stick.

I have one of these, the wire is close to 1/4 inch in diameter and I can bend it with my hands. What kinds of wire is this? I want to buy it and I don't know what to get, or where to go. Some is copper and some might be aluminum.

It seems like it is so soft, that you could bend the wire by rolling it around a pop bottle or a broom handle.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I think I have a answer for you. Go to the FAQ's at the top of the page, click on Garden Junk. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see copper wire art.
