resin chair slipcovers

| I'm trying to find a pattern for slipcovers for those ugly resin chairs I have. They weren't that bad to begin with, but they are several years old, still in decent structural shape, but don't like the way they look so I would like to cover them.
Any suggestions?

| Here is a different idea. Paint them. Buy acrylic paint from Michael's etc. Then either sponge on several colors or decorate how you want. I took a 1" foam brush and did an expressionistic type painting of my favorite flowers. Hid all the stains and held up to the weather. kim |

| I saw an article in a gardening magazine that said to renew or improve the looks of the plastic pots to sponge on varnish. Gives it a shine and deepens the tone of the plastic. I am wondering if it might work for the chairs also. |

They also sell the Krylon spray paint at wal mart and other places that is specifically for these type of chairs and things, Kathi |

| I honestly thought about painting and probably will the table but the chairs really need a cover....we're talking really sad in looks, but I think they are pretty sound. |
