| I've seen in the past people using a large pedestal in their gardens with a container on top. I have a spot that I would really like to do something like this but I can't afford to buy the pedestals in the garden centers.
Has anyone made a pedestal? Or have pictures? |

| I use a tall square terra cotta drainage tile as a pedestal, also a 14" upside down pot with a 10" pot stacked on top. Bricks stacked four-square also work. An ice cream parlor bar stool without the seat makes a good pot stand. All kinds of things make good pedestals if you think outside the box. Sandy |

| I have an antique mahogany pedestal (plant stand ~4.5 feet tall) that I inherited. Didn't have anywhere to put it and it wasn't in the greatest shape, so I painted it periwinkle and put it on the patio with a container on it. I need to repaint it this year, but I love the look of it. Hit yard sales and flea markets to find old stands! You will love the look! Then, post a picture. |
