Need help with front porch

We did a front porch renovation last summer & are finally starting the landscaping. The porch needs some furniture & I'm not sure what to buy & the type of flower pots to put on the porch. The porch faces west & I'm in NE Ohio so we get all kinds of weather. We plan on mounting a window box under the small bedroom window but again, we can't decide on the type of furniture. We have never been porch people since we have a deck & patio in the backyard, but we knew we needed some major curb appeal. We had a load of topsoil delivered yesterday & we have the landscape plan. I have a webshots album of the porch renovation & would appreciate any suggestions or ideas.
Thanks!
Vera

I think you need rockers, IMHO, just two, not too large, but big enough to see from about 150 feet away, either green or white. And maybe a little table, plain style, to set between them so you can set a cold drink glass down.

Vera, what a transformation!
My first reaction when looking at your photos was white wicker - resin wicker. I like Cheryl's idea of the rockers - large enough to be visible and pick up on the white trim.

Thanks Cheryl & Margaret for looking & the suggestions. I never thought of rockers but will take a look at what's out there when we go shopping this weekend. Definately need the outdoor resin wicker & maybe I can find rockers in wicker. Yes it sure is a major transformation & I forgot to say that someone on the Landscape forum came up with the porch & landscape plan. Thanks again!

I think the white rockers (like the ones at Cracker Barrel) would look awesome. White would look nice since you have white accents on your home. Just my opinion.

As for plants, I can picture two huge Boston Fern hanging baskets hanging from the front. To me, those go well with the Cracker Barrel rockers.
