Painting fiber glass (?) bird bath

| We do not have a concrete bird bath. It is a lightweight material. I believe Resin. It is very light almost white and the birds don't seem to take to it. What can I safely paint it with? Also there is mosaic in the bottom of it and they don't seem to like that either. I had a small dish with mosaic in terra cotta and the mosaic was the only difference and they wouldn't use it either. Any suggestions you give to safely paint the bird bath so that they will utilize it would be appreciated. Thanks |
