No instructions for solar fountain!

No electrical outlet outside so I purchased a solar table top fountain. It also came with a pump and a plug if I wanted to have it run inside. However, there were no instructions on how to attach the solar panel to the fountain! Do I cut off the small pump from the electrical cord? Does the white part of the solar panel go into the water? I have tried to email the company with no reply as of yet. Does anyone have an outdoor small fountain with a solar panel that can either email me their instructions? Spring is here and I want to put it together soon! Thanks a million!

I have never used anything solor so I really don't know, but I don't think I would cut the plug off. Just coil it up, maybe?????

Did you ever find out how to set up your fountain?

It probably should be set up similar to the photo below (look at the panel in the background). The white panel would need to be set somewhere so that it can absorb the suns rays......it probably also needs time to charge before it will run the pump. I'd leave the electrical cord outside the fountain and camouflage it with a plant or something.

Here is a link that might be useful: fountain

RE: No instructions for solar fountain!

Update: I have been in contact with Silicon Solar Inc. the business in NY where I purchased this fountain online. It has been a run around with promises to send me a new part or a repair kit but with no results so far! I just emailed them AGAIN and got a reply to start all over with invoice numbers, etc. This has not been a pleasant experience and it now has been almost two months of a non functioning fountain. AAARGH!
