 o
Copper tubing

Recently my husband decided to start making copper trellises, obelisks, etc., and is having a ball with his first project. He's already planning his second and third projects and while at Lowe's for something else, he picked up part of the tubing that he will need for one of them.

We might have to sell the house and the dog to pay for his latest passion. I went into financial shock when I saw the receipt. I jokingly told him that we might have to sale his Harley but he said the house goes first. LOL!!

Some time ago I saw somewhere on GW where someone had suggested buying copper tubing from someplace other than Lowe's or Home Depot as it was cheaper.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas as to where we could get copper tubing, other than Lowe's or HD?

Thanx much!

Jenna

RE: Copper tubing

Copper tubing is usually cheaper at the wholesalers who supply
plumbers.
BUT not always. Copper prices go up and down like a YoYo.
Depending on the age of the stock the price difference can be huge.
Go to the least busy hardware store you know and if they have old stock it will be cheaper.
Copper is going through the roof price wise right now.

buy now! re: copper tubing

Buy your copper tubing soon.
I was just told by my plumbing wholesaler they expect the price to increase at least 50% by summer.
