| My sister made me a birch chair to put a plant in. It's absolutely beautiful. What can I do to preserve it? Spray polyurethane? Thanks, RAA |

IMO,
I would Brush on a couple coats of neatsfoot oil , let it sit in the sun and the wood will drink it up as the wood gets warmed. This treatment would be superior as this will NOT peel off, ever. Re-treat the wood once or twice a year to renew protection. Shirley |
