Can anyone tell me about this architectural style?

I am trying to find out more about this old mausoleum. I would like to have something like it built on my property and used as a garden shed and centerpiece for a formal garden. This one is located in Galveston Texas in what I believe is the Old City Cemetery. This photo was taken (by me) in 1984. It was already extremely old by then, probably dating back to shortly after the 1900 storm.

Is it Gothic Revival or Baroque?

Does anyone by some stragne stroke of luck come from Galveston and know anything about it?

Perhaps you could send this to the Galveston library via email. Someone there might know where and what. Or try a genealogy group located there.

It looks kind of Romanesque to me, with those round arches. Do a google image search of the term "romanesque," look at the pics it pulls up and see what you think.

It's probably a mix of a couple styles.

I have no expertise in any way, but the first thing I thought of when I saw your pic was a Spanish Mission... I research a little and discovered it may be called Spanish Revival. Here's a link to a Mission in California that I think resembles this architecture.

With the dome, arches, carvings and embellishment, I'd probably call it Baroque. Gothic tends toward more spires and pointed archways. I think it looks a gread deal like this Northern Italian Baroque style Bastillica.

Here is a link that might be useful: Basilica di Superga
