Help! Patio needs make- over

Posted by organic_freya TX (My Page) on

I need help in renovating my patio. Part of it has just plain old concrete and the other part looks like some one tried to make a low wooden deck. But the paint on the wood is peeling and I'm not going to want to paint every other year, nor do I want to rip up the wood. So is there some kind of stone or facsimile that I could glue onto the wood to give it the stone effect? I do like the idea of painting cobblestones on the concrete though. If anyone has any ideas I'd be truly grateful
Thanks

Depending upon how big the wood deck is, condition and how much you have to spend, there are a number of options for covering the existing wood. I saw a show on rubber tiles (link below) which can be used as an overlay, removed if needed.

Here is a link that might be useful: rubber tiles
