Nooo! Please Tell Me I Didn't Kill Him!!!

I have a container garden in a small yard, so my garden decor is small, too. I have three figurines of patriotic Teddy Bears sitting on our picnic/work table, and I was washing the table off with a hose tonight, when one went flying! (Didn't think it would zoom that quickly!) He fell and broke his leg off. These are simply those cute little figurines you can find at craft shops -- not ceramic, not plastic, but fairly thick. I'm thinking "resin," but don't know exactly what resin is.

Anyway, need to fix him, and he needs to go back outside, so regular glue won't do. Anyone know a type of glue that is weatherproof, and preferably not as quick to stick my fingers together permenantly as Super Glue? Please help. His family misses him and thing I killed him. :( (j/k sorta)

Try "Goop". It is a glue/sealant. Be sure all is dry and sets for a day. Hopefully he'll be back with the family.

Wow! There must be more then one product named "Goop," or the one I used to know is no longer on the market. Back in the olden days, when I was young, "Goop" was a no-water handcleaner.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be looking for some Goop. :)

Sounds like resin. I'd try some Crazy Glue or Weldbond. Poor baby, you'll make it all better.

I'm the fretter in our family. Hubby is Man-of-Action! While I fretted, he pulled out my crafting gun, heated up some glue in it, and viola! Had to ask him which of the two boys I broke! All is well for our little Teddy Bear Trio again! LOL

If it doesn't work, I now know a couple of other types of glues to use. Thanks. and whew!
