| I have tons of old slate from my roof repair-can i use this broken slate on my dirt drive? What would I need to do -crush it or break it up? Would the slate be a hazard to tires? |

| I have used pieces of slate for address signs, welcome signs etc. I have even used tiny pieces painted with farm type scenes as jewelry pins. I scrub the piece of slate then seal it with a spray on clear acrylic and then paint with regular craft acrylics. It is a very nice surface to work on. spiderwoman |
