potting bench advice

My DH surprised me by saying he would build a potting bench for me if I would design it! :-) I need help with ideas for features that any of you have found particularly useful in a bench. I think it will be somewhere around 8' long and 2' deep. I would like a sink and it will need a back splash to protect the side of the house. I hope this is the right forum. Thanks.

Here's a link to the one I built. You would have to expand on it to make it longer. I really like the bins.

Wow, that looks great. Is there anything you would change? Was it difficult to construct? Thanks for your help, Bossjim.

I think I would double the size of the bench and the number of bins. I use 1 bin for milled spagnum (sp?) and the other for perlite for starting cuttings. I would like to have bins for 2 different potting mixes also. It wasn't difficult to build, the plans are very good, but finding the MDO (medium density overlay) plywood might be a challange. It is the plywood that sign makers use. The rest of the material is cedar. The bench is very weather resistant.
