What is the best way to release rubber moulds after the concrete has cured. It seems to be the most time consuming part. As the ornaments have lots of curves etc and the rubber is like a tight body suit I have trouble getting the mould off. I do rub detergent over the outside to help it slip off but there must be a better way. And yes I do use detergent for a release agent on the inside of the rubber before I pour the mould.

I don't know what to tell you after the fact but I use cooking spray as a release agent and have had no problems at all, the concrete slides right out after cured. Good luck.
