solar fountains?

| do those copper fountains/birdbaths run by solar really do anything but trickle? I dont have electricity outside at my front patio and dont want to pay the bucks to get it. |

| I was not happy with my solar fountain. It needed bright, direct sun. Every time a cloud passed over the sun, it stopped. But then, I had electricity available, and just switched to a plug-in pump. The small ones only use 5 watts of electricity per hour, I believe. |
