Cement Birdbaths/leaves for decor?

Posted by fuddyduddy 4 WI (My Page) on

I have read about this somewhere on this site, now, when I want to find the info, hard to locate, and there were some mighty fine pics to go along with.
Is there someone out there that has done this craft, and could give me and my ladyfriend some pointers?
The pics were gorgeous, and of course, I don't expect to have such good results, at least 1 before the ground freezes would be a wonderful thing to carry into the winter.
Anyone out there to the rescue?

fuddyduddy, The FAQ on this forum has information about making mortar (cement and sand) leaf castings. You can find more information on the Hypertufa forum. Billie

Billieann, thanks so much for the info, you people are the greatest, and I should have known myself, what to look for, but sometimes one forgets where to start!
Thanks for your response, and look forward to starting something.
