Unique Mythical, Gargoyle, Elf and Fairy Statues

| Does anyone have a good source for unique Mythical, Gargoyle, Elf or Fairy garden statues? I have only been able to find standard junk ones and would really like something unique and different.
Thank you in advance,
Grancru

Try a local sculptor

| Maybe a small time local sculptor could make you one. You might be surprised what a couple hundred bucks could buy if you go direct to the source and bypass the expensive art gallery and retail store markup! I'm sure you can find local artists on the internet if you see their name listed next to something in a gallery. Or....eBay? |

Hope this helps. |

| /www.pyramidcollection.com has FANTASTIC dragon stepping stones and dragon (or gargoyle) downspouts. Also some nice dragon glass ornaments that could be hung from a plant in a sitting area. Just search dragon. |

| This may be a bit late for you, Grancru, but I also live in Michigan, and I have gotten a couple of statues from a gal on the road from Hastings to Battle Creek. I was taking the kids to the zoo, using the backroads when I found it. She had the normal stuff, and some neat gargoyles and other things too. Summer of 2005 I got a couple of griffins to flank a gate. I think the town name was Doyle, but I am not sure. About 5 years ago I went to a pretty good fountain place on 131 south of Kalamazoo. I wasn't looking for statues then, so I didn't notice, but if you are near it may be worth looking for as well- the place was huge. |

| Hi Grancru and fellow mythological fans, This guy has some really unique pieces -- gargoyles, dragons, griffins, and a cool Minotaur (which I'd love to have!) http://www.davidsmithart.com. You could put one on a pole as a garden accent. Cheers! |
