Concrete sphere almost

| Started to make a concrete ( portland and sand mix) hollow sphere and gave up before I finished. When I removed the ball from the half finished project, there was a container instead. I drilled some holes and filed with plants.

| That is great. I love it when an unfinished project turns out so good. JanetGranny |

Thanks Janet I agree. Many first timers make get discouraged when a piece breaks or does not come out the way the book or the web says it should. Never throw it away -- Mike |

| I love it! Would very much like to have some of these kind of containers in my garden. |

Very easy to make. Used fiber drywall tape and portland cement and sand . And used a liquid dye to get it that color. Cover top half of a ball with 6-8" of drywall tape ( its not too sticky) Use a kids bouncing ball. Then cover with potland and sand mix. Gravity will only allow you to apply so much. Allow to dry , and remove the ball. |

Thats lovely, it looks like two hands together holding all the plants. Well done! |
