wall planters for gazing ball? hanging gazing balls?

I've seen advertisements for hanging gazing balls. Anyone done this? Does this work for stainless steel balls? Are they hollow?

Has anyone used wall mounted planters for their gazing balls? Like the ones that hold a pot with a circular fitting, sometimes iron scroll designs?

Sounds nice but never seen them. I like the idea though..

I haven't seen these but think you could easily find something to work if you know the diameter of your ball to use. I think they would be terrific in a metal hanging basket such as used for those with cocoa liners, or even an old kerosene lamp holder may work if you have the right size and use some form of fixative to hold it in place. My husband made a stand for mine with welding horse shoes together.
