How to 'patina' make moss on a planter..... :) info :)

I just found out a neat way to make moss on your planters (terracotta and platsi preferred) rub moss or crushed leaves on the planter...... sit in a dark moist spot ..... water (water the pot...... not theinside :) ) regularly...... moss will begin to grow..... :)

Try blending buttermilk with moss and painting the mixture on the surface you are trying to patina. Keep in a damp and dark area and moss will grow on it.
