This was a surprise lilly..I planted last year and this is the 1st year bloom..one of those bulbs that just say variety lillies. What a fun surprise to see the 1st one:)

I had never heard of frans hall, I googled it and indeed, that is exactly what it is! thx, The box was just a variety pack of assorted lillies from home depot.

That's my guess also. I was given several of these daylilly plants at plant swaps and I love mine, can't wait for it to multiply. I need to move mine and plant it with the solid yellow ones that I have called Mary Todd, also a gift from a generous DG member at plant swaps.
