RE: Interesting Linaria flower formation

I just saw my first Linaria last year on vacation. I would love to try growing it here. Can you tell me about it? Specifically, what temps germinate it best, how long does it take to bloom from seed, and about what temps cause it to die from heat?

I love your pictures.

It's a Linaria or "toadflax" and reseeds very freely :)

on another note, i just posted these because of the weird flower formation that 1 flower has..

RE: Interesting Linaria flower formation

That is strange! Its like a totally different flower! It almost looks inside out or something, I grew this plant last year...never saw a mutation like that. A couple years ago a had a triple decker coneflower...I will have to look and see if i can find the pictures. Thanks for sharing!
