| Hey all..
Pat from the Jersey Shore here. I've always wanted sweetpeas.. but, in this quick-to-be-humid-weather here, I'm not usually successful. This year, I planted seeds, and they grew well. They are now in the outside greenhouse hardening off. When can I put the seedlings out in the garden? I know sweetpeas can take a lot of cool. And even a tidbit of frost, but, I'm not sure. I want that divine smell. Help and your experience here in the northeast would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| they need some good time to harden off .. but why risk it all in one planting frenzy ... in two weeks.. start planting 1/5 of them.. for 5 weeks ... last planting .. late april ... worse case scenario... you got the last fifth ... ken |
