| I am looking for a prolific bloomer that will climb and fill a large 6 foot obelisk planter (zone 5). I was thinking of Lablab purpureus/hyacinth bean but maybe that is too fast climbing? What about some sort of climbing nasturtium? Thanks for your suggestions.

Follow-Up Postings:
| Cypress vine has red blooms and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Morning Glories come in countless colors and patterns, but can reseed invasively. Sweet peas are similar to Hyacinth Bean in appearance, but have wonderful fragrance, depending on your variety. I'm still half asleep, but hope that helps. Martha |
| Cypress vine can also be terribly invasive. FYI |
| How about Spanish Flag (mina lobata)? Or Black eyed Susan (Thunbergia alata) or, best of all, sweet peas? |
| I especially like the BESusan vine suggestion campanula. Thank you. |
