I'd like to put my calla lily outside now, but we're still having cold nighttime temps. How cool of temps can callas take before they start going dormant again? Deanna

are they dormant... or leafed out??? how warm is soil temp ... if its going to take a week or two.. for a bulb to poke out of the ground .... then they can be planted up to two weeks prior to last frost ... if leafed out.. and not hardy.. then you have to wait.. hard for us to tell you how that all works out in your garden . ... ken

It's not in the soil - it wouldn't have lived through the winter. It's in a pot and has just started poking through the soil. Deanna

if its in a pot.. its in media ... not soil.. but if the leaves are showing.. they could be FROST/FREEZE ... you will have to wait.. or protect them on any given night ... as i asked.. how warm is mother earth??? ... an inch or two down ??? .. some bulbs dont mind a refrigerator.. others.. the more tropical.. might not ... i doubt you are going to get a specific answer.. because this is all about your little micro climate .... ken
