nasturtium "mounding vine?"

I bought Night and Day nasturtium seeds today. The packet says they are a mounding vine. Does that mean these these will trail if I plant them next to the edge of a container?

That's what I'd assume, but you know where that leads. Thought I'd check before planting them.

More mounding than vining but they will spill over the edge of a container.

Thank you for explaining. I'd never heard of a mounding vine before. Now, I'm really looking forward to seeing these things!

I have one nasturtium and it's mounding, it may be what you're talking about, it's about 3' across, and I've never seen it grow that big before!

Three feet across? Yikes. That's bigger than the pot I plan to grow it in. Can these things be pinched back to limit their growth?

Pinch em back and have them in your salad. They add a nice peppery bite to the greens. Flowers are edible too!
