| I got two yesterday and put them into one hanging basket. Then I looked it up and oops! It spreads and gets pretty large! One will come out and go into the ground. I've seen this plant in nurseries before but have never grown it.
Can it be over-wintered indoors? I know it can be grown from cuttings, and doesn't make fertile seed. |

| I first became acquainted with Iresine as a houseplant. It's not an annual at all, but a tender perennial. When grown indoors, it can live for several years, quite happily. Be sure to find a very bright location in the home. |

| I have five year old plant I keep for cuttings. Very easy to root and overwinter inside. tj |
