dusty miller for part sun/shade?

I have 2 large planters that I plant with annuals, which gets morning sun, afternoon shade. I usually plant with lobelia, begonia, violas, coleus or caladium. I'd like to try some dusty miller this year, I love the silvery white foliage and use them in other spots that get full sun. Would they do well in the morning sun only planters? I always like to mix flowering and foliage plants, but the deer eat my caladiums and I want something other than coleus. The white dusty miller just goes so beautifully with everything. Will it do well with morning sun?
