 o
Lantana Camara 'Confetti' and 'Dallas Red' Sterility

I have ordered a Dallas Red Lantana and a Confetti Lantana from an online nursery. I thought these were both sterile cultivars, but now I am reading information online that these may not be sterile after all. Does anyone know for sure if the Dallas Red Lantana and Confetti Lantana are both sterile cultivars of lanata?

These are both highly variable in their seed production. If seeds do happen to be produced, they are not likely to be viable nor true-to-form.

They are easily started from cuttings however, if they are not protected by patent. Al

Al, neither is patent protected but the names of one or both are trademarked. That's no big deal for those of us who want to do some backyard propagating. :-)

Thanks for all of the information.
Would I need to dead-head either of these lantana cultivars in order to keep them blooming profusely?
