Boxwood

I transplanted a boxwood, and now half seems to have died. Will it come back? The one half seems ok. Thanks for any help.

are you talking about the shrub??

or is there some annual boxwood ...

presuming the shrub.. it should have been moved in dormancy... depending on where you are ...

it should NOT have been moved in june...

all you can do.. is water deeply.. and thoroughly and let it near dry in between..

and pray ...

Hi Kristy,as a new member of GardenWeb, welcome. A lot of help is available here, but we need more information. Where are you gardening? Is your boxwood a new plant you just purchased, or are you moving a plant within your garden? Here where the summers are hot and dry, we would not normally be planting boxwood in the summer. If in full sun, you might rig up something to give it shade for the next month. Al
