Hello everyone! I'm looking for a cockscomb celosia that would make a good cut flower. What are some seed companies that sell good quality celosia?

All of the seed houses will carry a nice selection of celosia. There are several different kinds of cockscomb but the 'Karume ' line looks really promising for you. Your only challenge will be to make sure that the varieties you want are still in stock. This is pretty late in the season. I often order my seeds from Park Seed, but there are lots of good companies.

Thanks! I found Hazzard's Seeds sells seeds in bulk which is perfect for what I need. Celosia do well here in Arizona this late in season.
|
I was just worried that the seeds would be sold out. This is the time of year that the seed supply becomes really lean. I'm glad that you discovered Hazzards. Just out of curiosity, are you growing large numbers of Celosia cristata for Day of the Dead celerations in November? The reason I ask is that someone a year or so ago wanted to grow a big crop of it and shared his knowledge of this Mexican holiday.

Rhizo_1 Sorry for the late reply. Yes I'm going to grow it for Day of the Dead. I bought some from Hazzards seeds at a good price.
