| I was greeted by this floral angel this morning. I enjoy everything it has to offer, flower color, flower size, leaf shape, color and shape, the list goes on. |

| Those are both gorgeous. Did you purchase seed knowing what you were getting, or do you somehow breed them and these are a surprise? Martha |

| Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. :) |
| docmom / Martha: I received them in a trade and the only identifier was a code number. So most of my garden I've planted this summer are from this trade, all coded, and the results will be like what Forrest Gump's mom said to her son describing life being like a box of mixed chocolates. Patty: thanks for your kind comment! Here is another photo of the blue blizzard flower of JMG 017. |

| Although not an annual, I wanted to show you this lavender-pink flower of a fat root forming morning glory, Ipomoea platensis. |

| Very beautiful morning glories and that white & blue one is outstanding. Though I have many varieties of seeds this year the only one I have growing is a Knoilas Black volunteer. I try to deadhead it or collect the seed but a few still manage to find their way to the ground and surprise me in the spring. Thanks for sharing your photos. |
| Thank you for your kind message, mnwsgal, what a nice thing to say. Stay tuned, the MG garden is just now beginning to flower up. Here is another new one, called Heian no Beni. It's the largest flower yet for this year, really vivid red and has huge variegated leaves. |

| Last one for today, a first flower of this strain of JMG which has no name. I like the color in the ray-white flower and look at the outer areas of the rays for a hint of yellow. |

| Great photo of the speckled flower with the raindrops. |
| Thank you, mnwsgal! The big flower show has started in my garden. I will upload a series for you to enjoy. Joseph |
| What an amazing range of colors and forms. Thanks for the great pictures! |
| Here is a MG I call Ellen Rose. It is a lavender pink large flower MG with variegated yellow dragonfly-shape leaves. It's a favorite of mine. |
| Thanks, Joseph, for sharing your variety of MGs. My Knoilas Black greets me with bright blooms each morning. Nice, but it is special to come here and see all your varieties of markings and hue. Yellow dragonfly shaped leaves, oh my! |
| Joseph, pls keep your gorgeous pics coming. So beautiful! |
| Thank you, mnwsgal and patann! Your comments are awesome, and here are more photos from the last couple days. Enjoy! |
| What a feast for the eyes. Thanks for sharing, Joseph. |
| Thanks, mnwsgal. |

| OK so u are blessed but this year I have2 huge heavenly blue and NO flowers even though they have lots of leaves.. I put blood meal in the fertilizer mix. could that have messed them up as annuals bloom best under stress? I was blaming the deer and other critters but now even the tallest vines have nothing.. not even bud de3velopment so far as I can see. wonder if there is any chance of a sterile seed lot.. Only year this has happened!! HELP!! |
| Blood meal is a good nitrogen source. That may have given rise to your bounty of leaves. Try giving the plant some phosphorus, to promote flower production. |
