New Sweet Potato Vine

I found these at Wal-Mart this spring mixed in with the Blackies but they were different so I bought them to see how they would do. They were just labeled "Sweet Potato Vine" so I don't know the variety but they're new for me. Does anyone know what they are?

Christie,

It's the new "Black Heart" variety I believe. Very beautiful!! I wish they had them here in Maine this year. I love the leaf shape.

I didn't find a good photo of Black Heart but googled images for awhile and I think it looks very similar to Sweet Caroline Bewitched.
I have two containers on the west side of my house and have used Sweet Potato Vine in them for the last few years because several other things I've tried didn't do well.

I think you are right. Check out the "Proven Winner" website and search for Sweet Potato Vine. They have some pretty good pics there.
