My white moonflowers are pink

So, a while back I bought a packet of moonflowers at the store that pictured white moonflowers. When it started blooming the flowers were pink. Is it a packaging error? I didn't even know pink moonflowers existed. Bit disappointed they aren't white, but they're still lovely, and I prefer them over morning glories. Anyone know where I can buy actual white moonflowers?

Would love a picture with a ruler for measuring the flowers. Very intriguing. It could be a cool mutation. Do love the pure whiteness of the moonflowers though.

I think they are something else, possibly due to cross-pollination (if that's possible between Ipomoea species, IDK.) The botanical name of moonflower (assuming you mean the vine kind,) is Ipomoea alba. Alba means white. As Rosie hinted at too, they are bigger than most 'morning glories.' I've never bought a pack of moonflower vine seeds that didn't produce a plant with huge, scented, white flowers. You may want to ask about this on the vine forum. I don't visit that much, but I know there's some very knowledgeable people there (on Ipomoeas especially.)
