| I received a small cutting/rhizome of this from a plant exchange. I tried everything to get it to grow. At was a few small stems and leaves and as more rhizomes would spring up the existing ones would die off. Finally, the other day... I completely lost it :(
I'm wondering if anyone has any advise/experience for growing these (in MI). I want to try these again from seeds next year. I haven't found any of these already growing in any nurseries around me. Thanks! |

| i seem to recall.. that they were so highly invasive.. that it took mom.. a couple years to kill them off ... i dont have time to research it for you.. but that might be a reason.. no 'good' nursery carries them ... see link.. my curiosity was triggered ... ken |
Here is a link that might be useful: you might want to get a hate on for whomever sent it to you.. and be glad yours died ...

| Agreed. Always avoided this one because of the horror stories people tell on these forums. |
