chantilly snapdragons

I bought some chantilly snapdragon (bronze) seeds from Swallow Tail and winter sowed them last winter. Its about 4 ft tall now and in a container... however, still no flowers. Its the only one that germinated so I don't know if this one is just stubborn but I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience in growing these... I was really looking forward to the bronze-orange flowers so I'm a little disappointed it hasn't done ANYTHING and its mid-august!

My wintersown no-name snapdragons just began blooming a week or so ago, and they are not the tall varieties. I'm not surprised it's taking longer for a tall plant to set buds. I'd hang in there a bit more. Are they in full sun?

'Chantilly' series are really for greenhouse growers. Make sure they are in direct sun. I grew some in 2012 they grew tall and spindly but a striking flower, nevertheless.

I didn't know that. Hmph. Well, its littered with buds right now so I'm hoping blooms aren't far off. Thanks everyone!

I bought mine as seedlings and planted them in ground in May, and they are just starting to put on a show. They are tall and I stake them, but they're very beautiful, taking the place of other annuals that are finished.
