| Cosmos are so cheerful! I love the flowers but usually don't grow them, as I don't care for the foliage. I break down some years and get them anyway :0) |

Roxanna, Your experience is very common. There are many threads on different forums discussing the frustrating behavior of some cosmos plants. I don't know if any firm explanation exists, but it may have something to do with sensitivity to day length. I believe most people who had that problem were using seed they had collected from their plants from previous years, or that volunteered, like yours. My personal experience was that they might bloom, but possibly not until quite late in the season. And they can become huge. If anyone has better information, I'd love to hear it. Martha |

| Have patience. Those huge cosmos plants will have 100 flowers when they do bloom. What an exciting plant! |

| Yep! They are a new favorite of mine too! I planted Tickle Pink and Cosmic Red and the two of them look fantastic together. They've been a little thirsty here in Central OK, but we got lots of rain today, so expecting them to perk back up and bloom again! I'm just including the link because this is where I got my seeds and the germination rate rocked!!! |
