What's Eating My Impatiens??

Had beautiful Impatiens & overnight the blooms disappeared! The rest of the plant appears intact.......... I'd blame the deer, but they would have eaten the entire plant.... Anyone??

sorry.. cant really SEE anything in this pic ...

how cold has it been getting at night... it was 38 degrees for me in MI the other night ...

that is not Imp temps.. and i suggest.. yours are going to be frosted down to goo all too soon ...

not really much to do about it all now... besides pull them up..and prep the spot for next season.. or plant some fall mums or viola ...

and then we hope.. if there is a bug.. it also dies in winter.. lol ... [i would look for slugs]

Look under the leaf to check for Downy Mildew...it's been affecting a lot of impatiens over the past couple of years.

This looks like damage from the mold that has devastated impatiens. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/18/garden/a-mold-devastates-impatiens.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
