Got a pansy in a flat that had a lot of variegated green and white leaves---what would cause that? I am not aware of variegated cultivars

i have seen roundup do that.. without killing the plant ... but not in the middle of a flat.. so chemicals is one possible answer ... other than that.. genetics are bizarre.. and one reason i have a red headed son .... and neither of us are .. ken

I would say chemical or viral. There are no pansies with variegated leaves on the market.
