Great spring filler plant - Orlaya

I am thrilled to see seedlings up from an Annie's Annuals plant. I'd never heard of it. Like a refined Queen Anne's Lace to my eyes. 'Scuse the messy garden. Does anyone else grow it? Will it become a pest? TIA

Iris gal, I've not grown it myself but like it very much. Though it appears to be a good reseeder, I don't find any support for it being a garden thug. Just keep it pulled from area jn which you do not want it to grow.

I might add this plant to my back yard perennial beds....I could use some white airiness back there, and this plant sounds like an excellent performer.

Thanks Rhizo. Annie;s sells some stuff I wouldn't allow in my garden so wondered if this plant, as much as I loved it in the spring, was going to make me sorry. I had troweled the soil this summer -- maybe that prevented mass germination this fall?

Oh that is beautiful. Rhizo if you have success with it in your climate will you please post? If you can grow it, I should have a shot at it too.

Starting to get the spring itch....
