I have an old cooler that I want to plant herbs in. My question is (kinda stupid) do I need to drill holes on the bottom or is the drainage hole on the side good enough. Thanks for any info. Col

You'll need to drill some holes in the bottom - if not, the water will just collect beneath the level of the side drain hole.
