 o
lilies etc

Hi, I am in Israel, not sure which zone that compares to. Does anyone grow lilies or something similar in pots. I want to grow something that has long lasting blooms on the balcony, whilst they are in bloom I want to bring them indoors, after the blooms have died i would like to keep them on the balcony. I usually consider bulbs etc. to be European and maybe it gets too hot here. My favourite would be calla, do I have a chance or will it be all tears and heartbreak. I am on the 12th floor lots of light, facing north west so the sun I get is from midday till sunset.

RE: lilies etc

You can always experiment and try calla lilies just make certain to water, because the bulbs are faily inexpensive.
