Pepper plants in containers

Posted by patrickalan Zone 6/NJ (My Page) on

this year I have planted a number of different Pepper plants in containers on my Balcony, mostly hot peppers, and some bananna peppers -- but they do not seem to be growing any yet. Do pepper plants require very warm temps to start growing ??

Yes, they do. You might look around at the pepper forum - you'll get a lot of info there :)

I still have my 4-year old habs inside. I probably won't put them out until the end of this month since it doesn't really look like there are any heatwaves coming any time soon.
