morning glories,nasturtiums in small containers

Hello,
I am growing morning glories, cardinal climber, long nasturtims in small flat hanging containers about (6" deep and 2' wide.) I put seeds close to each other by like by 3", but almost ALL of them are germinating. How long will these grow since they are clustered in a small space? Hopefullly not too long?
Thanks
Kris

Once they start growing, the stronger plants will crowd out and "starve" the weaker ones, so there will be a sort of balance there eventually. The morning glories will try to grow the most (they can grow dozens of feet if you let them) followed by the cardinal climber (if it likes its conditions) and then the nasturtiums.

If I were you I'd pull some out. You can get away with a little crowding in a container but some sometimes they get too crowded and stop growing or growing too small and sluggish.

yes, but if they grow too small and slow will MGs still bloom? Thanks

I have had MGs bloom at 6" tall so it's possible!
