Does anyone have a better way to water all their plants besides going back and forth to the kitchen, refilling a watering can?

A hose. :-)

The above is a ="Reeleasy" by Ames/TrueTemper, 50ft small diameter lightweight hose that can screw on to the kitchen faucet (you can get adapters) and will reach from my kitchen and just makes it to let me do my 40ft balcony. They are known for the bigger hoses and hose caddys.

Also, if you mulch and/or use some moisture-absorbing crystals like "SoilMoist", etc, you can reduce your watering as well.

Love the carpeting with the bare foot prints ... where did you get that? :-)

LOL!

Actually, the building had installed it before I moved in. That helped to "sell" the apartment to me for sure! The balconies are all poured concrete and the astroturf makes it so much nicer to go out there. Plus it captures alot of excess water that might drip from pots and it's easy to sweep.
